Gift Aid

Most parents have now completed a gift aid application and our first claim has now been submitted to the Inland Revenue.  This is backdated six years and is in excess of £3000.  Evidence if ever we needed it of the value of this work! 

Gift aid is now become a regular source of income for the Group without any additional cost (money or time) on parents or leaders.  For every £1 donated to the group, we can claim back 28p of the tax already paid.  This means for your child’s termly subs of £30 we get an additional £8.40, equating to £25.20 for every child a year.  We have over 60 members so this soon adds up..
